‘Be Daring’
I had been the sort of human being
Who would uncover magic on the ground,
As if the secret to real joy
was one thing left lying all-around.
I’d pull it out of library guides
their pages ripped and worn,
And swore that I could see it
inside the air just before a storm.
In case you’re wary to believing
I’m no stranger to distrust,
Back then all I present in library love books
was the smell of moths and mud.
And despite my just about kindness every promise
that every rainbow holds something gold.
That no one born in background
as at any time been tranquil Daring.
Right up until I told them by way of my smile
that believing is The crucial element.
You cannot change how the whole world appears to be
right up until you modify how men and women see.
